"Angellic Halo" for MS Kim Driscoll

Is that an "Angellic Halo" on the wall there
expressly for MS Kim Driscoll?

Kim, I also overheard that your family
is letting Strike Force do thier duty
like VSF did for Veterans on your watch.

The 4/13/2010 image Strike Force loved.

"Vets helping Vets"
real time boots on the ground
by party planner -- Air Force Kim!!!
Air Force Kim,
Jesse Brown Veterans' Hospital is sending more than one
4/14/2010 bus in your honor!!!!!!!
I was walking past a hospitalized Veteran and overheard,
"I have a pass to be on the bus tomorrow!"
Bet that Veteran knows God has you improving the parties in HEAVEN, and he wants to be on your list as to who GOD should invite to your parites?

In Fond Memory of Sister Kim Driscoll

In Fond Memory of
Kim Driscoll, Air Force Veteran

Dear Kim’s Family,
Those that Knew and Loved Kim, and Strike Force Members:

Kim amazed everyone in her circle of friends, and Kim had many friends. Kim had more people wanting to be her friend than those told to place road blocks to slow Kim’s accomplishments. If you ever saw Kim determined to debate with something that put a burr under her saddle, Kim caught you preventing a her task. Kim defeated adversity with her success.
_____
As Strike Force Officer, Kim embodied, “If you want something done, give that task to a busy person.” Kim never failed to further “Vets helping Vets”. Appointed as Strike Force Christmas Party Committee Chairwoman is the best example of Kim at her best.
_____
Veterans love to do their own thing. If you were lucky enough to take great direction from Kim to ready the Christmas Parties for the Veterans Kim loved, your way of doing things proved to be less efficient than Kim’s concept and insistence. And Kim was in charge. And Strike Force has a Christmas Party Database of Kim’s beautiful party planning. Kim got her parties ready on time. Kim made many Veterans Smile at what she has planned.
_____

Veterans and their families knew
to be on time for Kim’s successful plan.
_____
Veterans sorely missed Kim when her Journalism Studies and Graduation robbed Strike Force of Kim’s talent, beauty and artful skill in the Strike Force Office. The Commander, Executive Officer, and Chief of Staff would have preferred for Kim to pay off her student loans by getting paid for her running the Strike Force Office.
_____
Kim wore many hats and tasks got done on time.
Kim was very active with Strike Force,
and she knew what made Strike Force” look good
to Senators, Mayor’s, Contributors, Veterans and taxpayers.
_____
Everyone who knew Kim for a long time will agree that Kim was “Boots on the Ground”. Kim had resigned from her Air Force boots for great looking boots she wore to Jesse Brown’s VA Hospital. Gentlemen were very careful how they complimented Kim’s attire. Strong woman Kim defended femininity without offending males, unless they crossed Kim’s line in the sand.
_____
These words to eulogize Kim are not an eulogy. Dr. King told his loved ones what they should say in their eulogy to Dr. King. Someone as eloquent as Dr. King could eulogize Kim. We fellow Veterans are just telling you what we will miss most about our sister Veteran that left us in her dust when she went home to her Father in Heaven.
_____
“God loves drunks and fools!” is an old wives tale we Veterans hope is true. God blessed Kim to be neither a drunk nor a fool. Drunk Veterans are lazy Veterans. If you were drunk around Kim, you did not do that very often. Oh Kim did get drunk, but how else can a Goodie Goodie Girl rub shoulders with all you lazy Veterans and drunks, "... JUST AS YOU ARE!!!".
_____
We drunks can spot an Undercover Angel a mile away. So God sent Kim through the Valley of the Shadow of Death after us drunks. And look at the high standard Undercover Angel Kim set for Veterans in treatment. It is never easy to clean up your act once that label of “drunk” gets stuck to your forehead. Whoever tried to plaster Kim’s forehead, found Kim’s great face successfully completing Undergraduate Journalism college courses. We loved attending a Jesse Brown Veterans’ Hospital Graduation Party for our beloved Kim.
_____
“I do not look good. Can you take my picture again?” was asked at the first portrait setting. Ever try to tell Kim “NO”? Not many males would turn down a second chance to take Kim’s picture twice in one day -- especially, with Kim posing in the second portrait all dolled up.
_____
That image on the memorial gift -- that Kim would want you to have -- has her graduation portrait upon it. Kim loved it and it to be on her graduation announcements. “Thanks God, for that beautiful picture of our beloved sister Veteran!” is in our hearts when we look at that image of Kim.
_____
Kim loved how cleaned up she looked after the second portrait session. Her high school photographers are jealous of that image. Kim posing for any picture tomorrow would look better than the pictures taken of her before. Having Kim’s approval was a good idea if you pointed a camera at Kim.
_____

Kim knew how to place her best foot forward.
_____
Kim had no trouble doing that with her image, nor her intellectual concept of herself. Memories of Kim hurt now. But try to remember how happy Kim made Veterans at the Strike Force Christmas Parties. We will enjoy sharing with you the sisterhood and brotherhood of VSF’s slide show of Kim we offer in the Strike Force Office.
_____
You can almost smell Kim’s perfume as you see the Strike Force Computer help Veterans. Kim loved duties on that computer in that office. Kim made that computer sing. And Strike Force saddled Kim’s clerical talent for a long time -- BECAUSE Kim loved the Strike Force computer
better than any computer she operated.
_____

Kim, we love and honor your fellowship with us.
Kim is missed by all the lives she touched.
“Hope to see you soon, Kim, in Heaven, but not too soon?” is in our hearts.
God called home a great example of “Created in Her/His image”.
_____

I hope the Marines allow a “Simper Fi”(1)(2) to Kim.
Air Force Kim probably gets a “Gary Owen” Army salute, also.
